Pot & Spot Overview
An immersive combination experience where the guest is guided by our Chefs and prepare their own Potjie dinner on the banks of the Zambezi River, before departing on a Zambezi Park game drive.
This traditional cooking method is done in a cast Iron three-legged pot, the potjie, which descended from the Dutch Oven (Translated as small Pot) brought from the Netherlands to South Africa in the 17th century and found in the homes and villages of people throughout southern Africa
After preparation and during the cooking process the guest is taken on a game drive by experienced guides in the Zambezi National Park, after which they are dropped off back at the Pure Africa Waterfront, where they will be enjoy a 3 Course meal with their “POT” as the main course.
