With all the natural elements taking centre stage, The Bay Hotel’s rooms are designed to enhance the views of the mountains and the sea. Defined by casual opulence, each room and suite at The Bay Hotel is luxuriously furnished, maximising comfort and enhancing the already beautiful setting.

Mountain Rooms

The south and east facing mountain rooms have side views of Table Mountain and expansive views of the Twelve Apostles mountain range. Each has a private entrance lobby, en-suite bathroom with separate shower, personal bar, tea & coffee making facilities and a built-in electronic safe. Child Friendly rooms feature a Daybed for one child 3 – 14 years old to share. For children up to 3 years old, a cot can be provided in the room.

Classic Rooms

Boast views of the swimming pool and have direct access to the pool deck. Each Classic Room has a spacious patio, private entrance lobby, en-suite bathroom with separate shower, personal bar, tea and coffee making facilities and a built-in electronic safe. These rooms offer a choice of either twin or king size beds.

Club Classic Rooms

Rooms are north facing with views of Lions Head, have partial views of the sea and sports field. Each room has a sitting area and a private entrance lobby, sliding doors and balustrades, allowing views. Two of these rooms are especially equipped for physically disabled guests, which include hand rail facilities in the bathroom, easy wheel chair access and elevator/lift access to Tides and Traders Bar, on the first floor. Accessibility rooms specifications. Child Friendly rooms feature a Day Bed for one child 3 – 14 years old to share. For children up to 3 years old, a cot can be provided in the room.

Premier Mountain Room

Rooms are double-sized rooms with views of the Twelve Apostles mountain range, and spa baths from which to enjoy them from! They have a sitting area, balcony, entrance lobby, personal bar, tea & coffee-making facilities, safe and en-suite bathroom with separate shower. Lovers of dramatic landscapes will appreciate the views of Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles Mountain Range. Child Friendly rooms feature a Daybed for one child 3 – 14 years old to share. For children up to 3 years old, a cot can be provided in the room.

Premier Pool Room

Rooms are north facing with views of the pool area, Lions Head, partial sea views and spacious balconies.Each room has its own sitting area, entrance lobby, personal bar, tea & coffee-making facilities, a safe and en-suite bathroom with separate shower. Premier Sea Room

Rooms have direct sea views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean which can be enjoyed from a balcony. Each room has its own sitting area, entrance lobby, personal bar, tea & coffee-making facilities, a safe and en-suite bathroom with separate shower. Child Friendly rooms feature a Daybed for one child 3 – 14 years old to share. For children up to 3 years old, a cot can be provided in the room.

Cabana Rooms

Located on the ground floor with sea views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, enjoyed from oversized chairs on the private and spacious patio. These rooms offer direct access to two cabana pools.Each room has its own sitting area, entrance lobby, personal bar, tea & coffee-making facilities, a safe and en-suite bathroom with separate shower.

Luxury rooms

are spacious and open sea facing rooms, boasting spa baths and expansive balconies overlooking Camps Bay Beach. These rooms have features such as sun loungers on their private balconies, ample room space and breathtaking views. Each room has a large sitting area, balcony, entrance lobby, personal bar, tea & coffee-making facilities, safe and en-suite bathroom with separate shower. Child Friendly rooms feature a Daybed for one child 3 – 14 years old to share. For children up to 3 years old, a cot can be provided in the room.

Suites

Suites have spacious living areas, two balconies and delightful sea views. Suites are positioned to capture a maximum amount of sunlight, perfect for sun-worshippers. Suites are defined by their separate living rooms, as a private space for comfort and relaxation. Each has an entrance lobby, personal bar, tea & coffee-making facilities, safe and en-suite bathroom with separate shower and large oval bath. Suite 432 & 434 rooms features a Sofa bed for two children 3 – 14 years old to share. For children up to 3 years old, a cot can be provided in the room.

The Penthouse

Is defined by its mesmerising sea views and expansive space. A Hollywood style staircase invites you into this private haven of driftwood hues and grey’s… to exhale from the vibrant bustle of Camps Bay.The spacious and lavish interior creates an atmosphere of luxurious indulgence. Adventure Pad

Ground floor room featuring a private, glass enclosed balcony with partial views of Camps Bay main beach and Lions Head. The room has an extra length king size bed that can be converted to twin beds, en suite bathroom with shower and lounge area with two additional daybeds for children sharing. Specification include; centralized cooling system, personal bar and Nespresso machine. Child Friendly rooms feature a Daybed for one child 3 – 14 years old to share. Camps Bay, Glen and Clifton Beach

Exquisite Camps Bay Beach is situated opposite The Bay Hotel. Being one of the most beautiful beaches in Cape Town, it is loved by tourists and locals alike. Glen Beach is a small and beautiful secluded beach adjacent to Camps Bay and Clifton 4th Beach is one of Cape Town’s Blue Flag beaches and is a popular hangout for international jet setters and beautiful locals. Take a champagne yacht cruise from the Waterfront and anchor at Clifton 4th Beach for an experience to rival the top seaside vacations of the world.

 

Cape Town City Sightseeing Bus Tours

Cape Town’s city tours takes you along two scenic routes which offer a taste of some of Cape Town’s most popular local attractions, such as the Castle, the V&A Waterfront and Table Mountain. These distinctive open top explorer buses also transport you out of the city and along the coast. You could visit Kirstenbosch Gardens, Constantia Winelands, Hout Bay and even take a Township Tour. The bus stop is situated opposite the hotel, what more convenient way would you find to experience Cape Town’s many varied attractions.

Pieter Toerien’s Theatre on the Bay offers a good mix of local and international drama, musicals, comedy, cabaret, music and dance. It is also home to the Act Sidedish Theatre Bistro, open for dinner both before and after the show, with a small yet diverse seasonal menu.

Sunset Café, a new upscale cocktail lounge, has occupied the nook located at the entrance to The Bay Hotel, bringing a much-needed unique flair to the strip. Owners, Patrick Symington (Mondiall) and Simon Fraser (founder of Earthcote Paints), have created a fantastic locals bar setting positioned to become Camps Bay’s most alluring social hub this summer. Open 7 days a week from 09:30am till 02:00am, they offer a cocktail for every occasion.

The Von Kamptz restaurant at Campsbay Retreat is a breathtaking mix of sea views combined with the serenity of a retreat. Enjoy a famous traditional barbeque. Table Mountain and the Cable Car

Take a trip up one of the natural wonders of the world and experience Cape Town with a bird’s eye view. The five minute ascent to the top offers a 360° view of Cape Town, the ocean and neighbouring peaks. The area at the top of the mountain is surprisingly large, so leave enough time to stroll along paths, enjoy the viewing platforms soak up the vistas.

Lion’s Head is a very popular local hiking route to the summit of Lion’s Head, offering exquisite views of Camps Bay, Signal Hill and Cape Town.
 
Kirstenbosch

Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is a world famous garden, set on 528 hectares and supports a diverse fynbos flora and natural forest. Concerts are held in the gardens in summer with local and international artists entertaining audiences in the late afternoon. They offer fine dining at their three restaurants and tours around the gardens.
